Mount Isa born, Darlene started her school life here before transferring to Charters Towers for senior school. After completing a Hairdressing Apprenticeship, she put on her traveling shoes and set off for Darwin for a portion of time before relocating to the Gulf, working on stations as a cook. Darlene also spent time in Karumba (fishing town) so it is safe to say, she has had exposure to diverse types of communities. Mount Isa called her back and back she came.. Darlene spent 10 years distributing oil for Mobil before we were lucky enough to have her join SMH almost a year ago.

Darlene took on Traceys previous role as an administration assistant and fits in very nicely. She is always willing to help, aims to please and gets the job done! In her spare time, this mother of one loves to go fishing, camping and has the best gardening tips!
