Born in Toowoomba, raised in Brisbane, Marci moved to Mount Isa in early 2004 after living in Tanzania - East Africa for a period of time. She started her career in mining as a Safety & Training data entry clerk and soon moved her way through the ranks to become a Safety, Training & Administration Superintendent, a position she held for 8 years, (all whilst raising 2 children as a single Mum). Once the Mine life ended, she decided on a change of scenery and ventured into the world of Real Estate as a Property Manager which ultimately led her into starting up her own Cleaning, Mowing and Handyman business. Once this was established and self-sufficient, Marci joined SMH (in early 2017). Marci is responsible for the day to operation of the office - Invoicing, Accounts and Customer services as well as Marketing, Safety, HR and Project Planning. Marci brings knowledge and expertise to the Administration department with having held the Administration Management role in the mines, she is always willing to try new things and loves learning the ins and outs of all the office procedures. Her strengths are systems and her OCD equals a neat and organised office!
